Designed for Medium Frequency Furnaces

A medium frequency induction furnace is not an ordinary load. During melting, power demand fluctuates sharply between cold charging, melt-down and holding stages, while the MF power supply injects significant harmonics back into the grid. A standard distribution transformer is not built for this duty.

Topyro's oil-immersed transformer is specially designed for this working pattern:

  • Stronger insulation and winding design to withstand harmonic stress;
  • Higher overload margin for repeated charge-to-charge cycles;
  • Stable voltage regulation to protect the rectifier and inverter of the MF power supply;
  • Robust tank and terminal design for factory-floor environments with dust, heat and vibration.

The result is stable melting power, fewer electrical failures, and longer service life for both the transformer and the medium frequency power supply.
